Sounding like Django doing the charleston with Beyonce at a 1940’s Parisian rave, the 10-piece Ensemble Formidable is a fully live dancefloor doof-device featuring horns, strings, accordion, drums, electrojunk and synth. Barely squeezing onto stage, the chicken-driven machine brings you a rickety wall of sound made from factory-floor sweepings of swing, dubstep, klezmer, manouche, dub and tango.
