I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
Got no time, got no patience
Gotta swing to win for all occasions
What you doing with your groove thing, your mood ring, ya blues groove swing?
Doowop doowop it's a scat attack!
It's vocal not fecal now you lack some tact
You got your foot thumping too
Jazz tap, it's swing swang swung to be exact
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
Industrial chook, Mum what's for dinner?
Melodies and beats jazz bass critiques
Back in the 50s with the singers and swingers
Now millennials pop pills and get thinner
So sing, sing, sing
Drop the bass, upset the pace
And swing, swing, swing
Take a backseat, great Gatsby
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!
I don't want to live my life if I don't have enough - of what? - of swing!

Fit In

Another day, another sin
You can catch the mood I’m in
Just close your eyes and block your ears
Cos those we like should fit a mould
And those we don’t like should be told that they’re not welcome here, until they hear:
So if you’re like us
You might find that you like us
And if you’re not you’ll have to fight us
What are you waiting for?
And if you’re not us
It’s you who’s got the problem not us
We’ll be banging down your door
What are you waiting for?
They should be happy as our wives
Instead of wanting separate lives
Where will the babies go, we don’t know
Cos we can’t match the female state
So we’ll just drown them out with hate
Our daughters hopes and dreams, it’s obscene
So if you’re like us
You might find that you like us
And if you’re not you’ll have to fight us
What are you waiting for?
And if you’re not us
It’s you who’s got the problem not us
We’ll be banging down your door
What are you waiting for?

Industrial Chook

Industrial Chook locked in a cage, cooped up so long, gets filled with rage
It bulges her eye, it sharpens her beak, it floods her brain, it makes her weak
Now delirious power drips in her eye, she’s a beast maximised, beak in the sky
With alien intelligence she brings the pain, this injustice has mutated her DNA
Industrial Chook locked in a cage
Cooped up so long, gets filled with rage
Woke up one day and went berserk
Her war cry: bok bok bok bergerk!
The mutation travels through her cells, expressing the rage she felt in her cell
There’s no punches pulled, no victim spared
The warpath is littered with feathers and hair
Humanity failed her, took her babies away, broke her beak and her wings and locked her up in a cage
Now humans are the ones that are out for the pickin’ cos Industrial Chook is now a free range chicken!
Industrial Chook locked in a cage
Cooped up so long, gets filled with rage
Woke up one day and went berserk
Her war cry: bok bok bok bergerk!

Ensemble Formidable Fremantle, Australia
Sounding like Django doing the charleston with Beyonce at a 1940’s Parisian rave, the 10-piece Ensemble Formidable is a fully live dancefloor doof-device featuring horns, strings, accordion, drums, electrojunk and synth. Barely squeezing onto stage, the chicken-driven machine brings you a rickety wall of sound made from factory-floor sweepings of swing, dubstep, klezmer, manouche, dub and tango. ... more
